Digital Lumination™ is a division of New Edison LLC and is located in
Colorado. We have been introducing new, emerging technology to the market for the past 16 years. In 2003 we recognized the evolutionary shift that LED lighting would bring the world. After researching the LED lighting industry, we started the business in 2004. In 2005 we built the first LED lighting products that the DOE EnergyStar had ever seen that met the two primary requirements in EnergyStar Residential lighting program. (Efficacy and CRI) Today LEDs far exceed the requirements. EnergyStar is raising the bar, requiring LED lighting to be much more efficient and meet higher quality than CFL’s. The new requirements are expected to be released in the fall of 2008. Digital Lumination™ will continue to offer our customers the most efficient quality LED products available.
The company’s founder (William Walker) comes from the Home Technology Industry. Mr. Walker has been an evangelist in the Home Networking/Home control Industry. He served as an advisor on Cisco's Home Integration Council, IBM's Home Director Advisory Board, 3M's Home Technology Group among others. He worked with several of the nations’ largest companies regarding emerging new technologies. Mr. Walker also assisted in creating home networking standards for some of the largest home builders in the country. He served as a technology consultant for two technology homes created by Builder Magazine, which is the official publication to the National Association of Home Builders. Mr. Walker’s vision is to bring the emerging new technology of LED lighting to new homes as well as the commercial markets.
